I just made this. The background is a carbon fibre pattern wich matches my pc case and my docklet. I only used a premade render of the acc hero the rest is made in photoshop by myself. The carbon pattern is my newest style of carbon wich ill also implement into my dock. I like sleek looking backgrounds with not to much fuzz. That why i only have the carbon in the background the blue flames comming out of his hands and the smoke covering the whole image.
I dont use icons on my background. Everything i use often can found on the docklet or a startmenu buttens or buttons on my toolbar, most of the dock icons are made by myself. The docklet is also made by myself to look like carbon fibre.

and this is how my desktop looks like all clean no links notting.
My windows is a tweaked version of xp i am running a wmp 11 theme wich resembles the black bleu vista theme but alot smoother. But i am working on a all carbon theme for windows xp but its hard to code themes might not even be able to make it. But ill try.
