So, last night, I spent my first (and hopefully last...) night ever at the hospital!
Because I woke up around 2 am with my bed burning and my neighbor banging on my door. I had fallen asleep with a cigarette (yes, yes, stupid), but luckily the smoke went upstairs and my neighbors called the fire department.
They gave me oxygen and took me to the hospital where they concluded I didn't have carbon monoxide poisoning, but kept me overnight. Funny thing is that my next of kin, my mom, works in the same hospital and no one notified her
Anyways, I'm fine now, my mattress is not and my apartment smells horrible
But I can say for certain that I've learned my lesson and have stopped smoking indoors
